Crawford County Mentors is built on a simple but powerful belief: when adults invest consistent time in the lives of young people, the benefits ripple outward—impacting not only the youth, but families, neighborhoods, and the county as a whole. The program asks for just one year of commitment, with a minimum of four hours per month spent with a mentee. Flexible meeting options include after-school, evening, weekend, or school-day sessions.

Who We Are

Crawford County Mentors is made up of local people who care deeply about children and our community. We are parents, educators, volunteers, and neighbors who believe that no young person should feel alone or without support. Our team brings real-life experience working with youth and families, and we take our responsibility seriously. That’s why we complete thorough screening and training, and stay closely involved to support both mentors and mentees. We lead with heart, but we also do the work carefully and thoughtfully—because the children and families we serve deserve nothing less.
